Vocabulary, Dialogue and Buying Food

Vocabulary:

Chicken: pollo
Fish: pescado

French fries: papas fritas
Pasta: pastas

Apple juice: jugo de manzana

B: So, what can you give me to drink?
A: we have apple juice, soda, lemonade. . .
B: OH! I want a lemonade.
A: OK, do you want any salad?
B Mmm... I want lettuce salad.
A: OK. Something else? . 
B: Nothing else. Thank you
A: OK, I will back in a minutes with your order.
...
A:Here you are. I hope is all right.
...
A: How was everything?
B: Oh my god, this food was perfect, I want to say thanks to the chef.
A: The chef is not here, he went to the bank.
B: Mmm.. . I will be wating for him. I really liked this food.
A: OK wait here.
...
A: Sorry sir, its time to close the restorant.
B: But I’m waiting for the chef.
A: He’s not here, please pay the bill and get out of here.
B: I don’t leave this place if I don’t meet the chef.
A: Please get out everybody left the place, you could do the same.
B: But the chef..., the food really liked to me.
A: Mmm . . . sorry sir but there is not a chef. We just serve frozen meals
B: Oh. I’m disappointed with this place, I leave and don’t come back again.
A: OK sir. Thanks for coming.





Buying food

A: Hi, have any type of salad?
B: Sure, because this is a grocery store… tell me, which do you want?
A: Mmm, these are fresh lettuce?
B: Of course!, everything here is fresh
A: Then I want the lettuce...
B: But, what do you want to cook?
A: I want a “Russian Salad”
B: Oh, for this you need potatoes. It’s $4 the kilo. Also you need tuna and mayonnaise that you can buy in the market.  
A: Thanks you! How much is it two lettuce and one kilo of potatoes
B: Let’s me see... it’s $10
A: Thanks you very much

(in the supermarket)

A: Mayonnaise…tuna…now, to pay!
C: Ballot or invoice
A: Uhh… could I pay with credit card?
C: OK, but you must do the row there…
A: Oh no… I will pay with cash
C: It would be a 500g of mayonnaise and a pot of tuna…Do you need oil?
A: I know i forget something!
C: You are very forgetful…
A: OK here is the oil and the salt that I forget too.
C: It’s $20, thanks for your preference
A: Thanks to you. Finally I can eat a “Russian salad”
